Reposted from @drelliesomers - What physicians say

That white coat is damn powerful.

All it takes is one ️sentence in the right context, to completely change a person’s life.

What your physician says to you has the power to completely change your life for the worse and it is happening ALL THE TIME!

I’m sick of it. Every single day I hear stories like this from women.

Stories where the littlest bit of misinformation starts a damn cascade of fear and avoidance and pain and anxiety and depression.

I am here to give a big fat to every doc (Physio, chiro, trainer, ATC, massage therapist...yada yada) that does not get it and continues to harm people every single day.

Facebook Post of the Week:

In this week's Facebook post, Fred Duncan looks at how one needs to improve their ability to produce force in order to get faster, not more speed ladders.

Want to waste time and money?

Hire a "speed coach" and move aimlessly through a "speed ladder."

Want to actually get faster?

Improve your ability to produce force, the rate at which you can do it, and train the energy systems to maximize output and facilitate recovery.
